The (Freaking) Deal Breaker!

She is nice.
She is so nice; I have to say it twice.
She is beautiful.
She is very sweet.
She is very down to earth.
She has lovely eyes.
She has very kissable lips…evah!
She is a wonderful person.
And most of all…she’s already freaking…TAKEN!

Yes! Ladies and gentlemen, after all the wonderful and positive adjectives I’ve mentioned above, the last one really suck!

Has this ever happened to you? You are talking with a person that you are starting to like and somehow gave you the overwhelming feeling of hope to see your future; a future, where you picture yourself and this person you are talking with being together? Together, I meant as a couple or in a relationship. And along the conversation, you will find out that…that person is already freaking taken?

Well, I’m not sure about you but sadly this happened to me. I’ve been single for quite sometime now and frankly, I have no complains being in this status…yet (Lol). So, I believe that I am entitled to picture myself to be with someone I really like since technically I still don’t have someone who I say I’m committed with. Unfortunately though, the person that I think I was starting to like is already in a relationship. Taken by someone I don’t really care about. Although, I felt envious for this someone having the person I really like.

But, I guess that’s just a normal reaction.

So…anyways, instead of just being fully disappointed, frustrated and bitter, I just thought that it would be nice or funny to write something about the possible reaction(s) to this kind of situation. When you are talking to a person you are starting to like or probably already like and along the conversation she will throw what I call…the deal breaker.

***Disclaimer:

Assuming that both of you have been talking for quite sometime now and you’re starting to really like this person and along the conversation she throws in this deal breaker.

Also, these reactions are just purely for fun. So, don’t be offended. And in any instance that you wish to do these suggestions, please be in mind that I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE although I would love to hear the result(s). (Lol)

Scenario 1

You: It would be nice if you could join us this coming Saturday?

Her: Oh sure! I would really love to go. Can I bring my boyfriend with me?

(In his head, his real reaction)
You: @#$@@#$@#! We’ve been talking here for hours now and you are just saying that!

(Acceptable reaction)
You: Hmmm, not sure if that will be allowed but if it is…surely you can bring him with you. I guess, there’s nothing wrong about that.

Scenario 2

You: I used to work in that company.

Her: Really?! My boyfriend is working there. I hope you know him.

(In his head, his real reaction)
You: $#@$!@! Seriously?! 3 Days is not enough for you to tell me that you have a boyfriend? I’m now starting to like you and you are just saying that. Well, frankly, I don’t want to know anything about your boyfriend. As a matter of fact, I haven’t met him yet but I already know that I don’t like him. Because of him, all my possible hopes of my future with you is freaking thrown out the window.

(Acceptable reaction)
You: Oh! You’re boyfriend is still working there? What’s his name?

Her: Atty. Do Evil y Lucky Bastard. (Obviously, I just made this name up!)

(Acceptable reaction)
You: Ah! No. Don’t ring bell.

(Not-So-Acceptable reaction)
You: Oh! meeting. Sorry, have to go! Ciao!

Well, these are just 2 scenarios I could think of for now. I know these might not be true but since I thought about them; there’s a possibility right?! (Lol). And since, I was somehow disappointed I just thought why not write something funny and share it here.

So, going back to my question, has this ever happened to you?
